About Pittsburgh Children's Dentistry
Providing the highest quality pediatric dental care for patients in the greater Pittsburgh area for decades.
Pittsburgh Children's Dentistry is a pediatric dentist in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 3845 Northern Pike #2, Monroeville, PA 15146, which places it among the local businesses of Monroeville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Monroeville, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Pennsylvania, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 amβ4 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 823-2450. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, childrensdentistrypittsburgh.com.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 30 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Monroeville is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Monroeville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We have been going to them for 8 years. My 10 year old started seeing Dr. Aaron when he was 3. My son whoβs 7 loves going here as well and now our 3 year old starting to be seen. We live in Swisshelm Park and could be going to the Squirrel Hill office, but the Murrysville office has more parking options. They (including the hygienist) are all caring, patient, kind, and attentive to my kidβs temperament. They are patient with my extra curious and wiggly 10 year old and super patient with my shy and scared 3 year old. Whatβs nice is they can get their cleaning all at the same time side by side. I can see all of them in the same area which is great for a mom of 3 who cannot be in 3 places at once. My children look forward to going to the dentist, which was a completely different feeling when I grew up. I wish I had them as my peds dentist and I would have had a better experience growing up and look forward to seeing dentists! Haha!

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! read on. This used to be our highly recommended dentist for kids until one incident. My family has been clients of this business since 2015 and because of $75 they will now lose thousands of future dollars in business. We have paid thousands in services over the past decade and $75 will now terminate that relationship. Why? We missed an appointment for so three of our kids and this place wasn't willing to waive the missed appointment fee. The customer service has slowly degraded over the years, communication has worsened and they have chosen to stick to a policy of $75 for missed appointment fees rather than use good judgement and customer satisfaction who have been loyal clients for so long. I would not recommend the place nor will I pay this fee. Send it to collections. You'll spend more money trying to acquire $75 than if you did the honorable thing and waived it. But instead try to get your last $75 from me. This is what happens when employees lose sight of why and what their mission and purpose is... The client! Good bye

Both of my daughterβs loved going here and for the last several years we have had no issues until the last visit. My youngest daughter was prescribed a medication at a Tuesday morning appointment and it was never called in. I called in Wednesday and was told that someone would contact the Dr. this continues until throughout the rest of the week and I couldnβt get the medication until the following Monday!! This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. We came here because she was in pain and nothing was done for her.

The staff is very accommodating and engaging with the kids - they really go out of the way to make everyone feel comfortable. This seems to be one of few places these days that actually has enough staff to efficiently run. I'm usually in and out with 4 kids in about 30min. Dr. Aaron is fantastic with the kids and very thorough with explaining any issues. My kids love him and get jealous if they find out a sibling got an "extra" visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

If you are looking for a fantastic dentist who is knowledgeable and caring- GO SEE DR. AARON!!!!! He is friendly and honest. We originally went to him for a second opinion for my son and he told me what he would recommend if it was his own child. He explained things thoroughly and answered all my questions. My son developed an abscess on his tooth and when I called the emergency line after hours Dr. Aaron called back immediately. He squeezed us in on a Saturday morning to look at the tooth and him and his staff did everything they could to make my son feel comfortable. Dr. Aaron even contacted me Saturday evening to check on my son and see how he was doing. You could not ask for better customer service and really just someone who really cares for their patients even when we were brand new to the practice. No one asked me to leave a review but I feel compelled when someone/ a business goes above and beyond. I am so very thankful someone recommended this practice to my family.
